 You can use google docs to construct tests or surveys that can be given online.  Multiple choice, matching, or fill in one word answers work well with google docs.

 First, you need a google docs account.

Choose a theme: And Click “Apply”

Fill in the name of the test here. Write any directions for the test here. Double click on “Sample Question 1”

If multiple choice, add selections here. First click option 1, then click “add option” to add additional choices. Check if the question is required. Check “Done” when finished. You can mix and match types of questions. For example, “Name” might be a text question, yet the actual test questions could be multiple choice.

When you are finished, you can this form Embed it in a webpage (click “more options.” Include the link at the bottom of the page as a hyperlink

To see responses, go to “See Responses” or Visit your Google Docs Account. The results will appear in a spreadsheet. It is easy to grade the tests (especially multiple choice) when in this format.

You can edit the test in Google docs. Open the file, and choose “Form,” then “Edit form.” This will reopen the test and let you make changes.
