Cyber bullying is a form of bullying that takes place using electronic technology

. About 21% of children have received mean or threatening s. Nearly two-thirds (65%) of children often go online without any parental supervision. Nearly 43% of children have been a victim of online abuse, and over 30,000 children called Childline in 2011/12 because of bullying. Yet 28% of children did not tell anyone about the abuse they had received.

Using Your Personal Information NEVER put any personal information online. This includes:- Full Name Phone Number Address School Date of birth

Help with ‘Privacy Settings’ Make sure that your settings are changed regularly. Keep everything you don’t want other people to see on private. REMEMBER Only allow FRIENDS see what is on your social networking profile.
