Our school is a Catholic school and a Sports College. Both dimensions are not only at the heart of the ethos of our community but are also at the heart of our curriculum. All students follow a GCSE course in Religious Education. All students will follow a Physical Education course for 2 periods / week which will develop the individual’s use of sport as a vehicle to enhance their personal, physical and mental wellbeing.

This may involve: Being entered early for a GCSE in the Spring term of Year 11 or even Year 10. Being entered for an additional qualification, i.e. GCSE Statistics Being entered for a course that doesn’t have any final examination but is assessed through a portfolio etc.

Where ever possible we aim to provide students with a post 16 pathway that builds on their KS4 curriculum.
