I was visiting my family in Rabat, we decided to make a travel journal, so that we knew more about North Africa. Rabat is located in the Atlantic Ocean. It is a humid city, its temperatures varies from 6 degrees C to 30 degrees C. It is a country that is very religious, it counts with 90 percent of Muslim people. People are not so educated, most of the children work to make a living.
The next thing we do was to go to Algiers, Algeria by an airplane that was almost “falling down”, ( I got scared). As soon as we got to Algiers I almost got smoked out, Algeria's temperature was in 45 degrees C. My father was telling me that the in the days the temperature varies from 20 degrees C to 50 degrees C. And in the nights it was very cool, like about 6 degrees C. We decided to go through a restaurant in the northern part of Algiers, it was raining a lot.
Politics: Algeria is an authoritarian regime, and the president is re-elected for 5 more years. Algeria has universal suffrage at 18 years of age. Agriculture: Algeria has been noted for the fertility of its soil, we saw lots of Algerians working in this section about 25 percent of the people. We stayed one more day in Algeria and did relative the same ting of the first day.
Our next stop was in Libya, we took a long train, that covered 632 miles. Finally we arrived!!! I felt I was going to die. We couldn’t travel Libya that much because people were in civil war against the government. Many people died in this civil war because people who were against Gaddafis rule will die.
After we knew people were in civil war we emerged Libya as fast as we can. I was very mad with myself, because after being in a long train, we couldn’t take advantage of our time. Tripoli is the hottest place in the world in the days, but in the nights it is very cold. Libya is located west of Egypt, and east of Algeria. For now I have not accomplished my dream of knowing and studying every city as I wanted.
As from Algeria to Libya, to Egypt was also a long trip in train. I arrived to Cairo and the first important thing that I saw was the famous pyramids, I also noticed that Cairo is the largest city of Africa. El Cairo is located in northern Egypt, and east of Libya. We also knew that the big pyramids were used to buried pharaohs.
The climate is a desert climate, that is very hot in days, and so cold in nights. Cairo is not a city to lived, because of the climate. In the night we went to a restaurant, and then go back home again. Cairo is full of Muslim people, just 20 percent of the people are catholic, the 50 percent is Muslim, and others religions are 30 percent. Good city to know.
Our next stop was in the capital city Riyadh. We went sailing from Egypt to Saudi Arabia in boat, we took 2 whole days sailing, because there were no airlines available. As soon as we arrived, the tour guide told us that Saudi Arabia was the largest country in the middle east. Saudi Arabia has an estimated population of 25.7 million people. It is a very hot place to live, as in every Middle east country in the nights it is so cold.
In winter temperatures drops down to 0 degrees C. It is a desert climate, and a very sunshine light. Saudi Arabia is one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world. Riyadh is the most populated city of Saudi Arabia, with 6,500,000 people. 97 percent of the whole population in Saudi Arabia are Muslim people. They praise to their god, ALLAH.
To shortcut our travel, we went sailing from Saudi Arabia to Iran, so we didn’t pass through Iraq. Even though the trip was very long we went fishing and saw the spectacular Indian Ocean. As soon as we got to the Tehran, Iran we got impressed and watch that Iran is one of the oldest continuous major civilizations. Iran is the 18 th largest country in the world. It is one of the worlds most mountainous countries.
As we were moving north of Tehran it was full of dense rain forests, while in the south, desert climate. Iran is divided in 31 provinces, each govern by an appointed governor. We were watching that Tehran is the most populated city of Iran, with 7,705,036 people. Iran is located east of Iraq, and west of Afghanistan. I enjoyed a lot visiting this large and mountainous country.
Finally point reached, we got to the country that we wanted, lets watch some things about it: Capital city Kabul. It is a mountainous country. Located east of Iran Natural resources include gold and silver. Consists of 34 provinces, and a violent climate in the day. 87 percent of Muslim people.
I learn a lot of things in this long trip. I didn’t know that all these countries had this climate in days. Also I learn that every country has a large number of Muslim people. Thank You!!!!!
