Description WHO This project is a group project of up to 4 people. Classtime (Feb 13/14 and Feb 27/28) is dedicated to coordinating boardgame format & rules with group and getting assistance from teacher. Remainder of the project must be prepared at home. WHAT Subject must be approved by Sra. Olsen by February 27/28. WHEN Written Project: 1st phase: Game Plan due Feb 13/14 2nd phase: Editing and Submission of Game Rules in Spanish due Feb 29/March 1 3rd phase: Game Day - boardgame in Spanish with all parts including game plan, rules sheet, score card and project packet due March 15/16 Group Oral Presentations: 1 minute presentation of boardgame and explanation in Spanish of game due March 15/16 Game Day: in-class centers with peer evaluation of games based on creativity, ease of directions, and “fun” factor March 15/16

Outline for Oral Presentation Follow the outline of your written project. This time with the goal to entice other students to play your boardgame To win the game, a player needs to be the first to reach a set destination on the board. This project is also a contest. Your group must convince the rest of the class that your boardgame is more creative, easier to understand and more fun than the others. Each group will play all the games on Game Day and do a peer evaluation, voting on the best game. The winning group will earn 5% extra credit on their project.
