Maths Around us – Maths in the garden Furugrund in Iceland

The theme in March is: Whilst children play in the garden they will observe the environment, plants, seeds etc. They will observe the shape of leaves, flowers. Count, sort. The Icelandic reality is: Out side in our garden is a lot of snow. We usually play in the snow at this time of the year.

Of course we can count the snowmen… Do you know how many they are? Can you count them? Are you ready?
