Lends itself to the use of technology/computing

Effective Teaching Characteristics Conducted online research to arrive at what I believe to be effective teaching behaviors that every teacher should have Looked at: Marzanos checklist, random internet searches, my own traditional teacher evaluation forms, other schools forms, and MVAL from Minnesota Listed characteristics I felt were most important, took care not to plagiarize others, and incorporated them into my own online form Used an Excel Template from the free Microsoft site as a base for my evaluation

Teacher Evaluation Form The tenured teacher! By using a checklist format with less narrative write-up (I feel) it is easier to make non-confrontational change with veteran staff member

Non-Tenured Evaluations Everyone likes these! We need to remember, however, that what we do during these years will shape a teacher for the rest of their career, so we must be specific on changes. Remember, if you do not ask for change, you probably will not get it! A music teacher who needs to change her ways now………..music teacher

Teacher Evaluation; Lets not let it be like …………………………… So………………………

Cattle Insemination !!!!!! Where they get it once a year whether they want it or not, and then we sit back and wait for the expected outcome!

Teacher Evaluation, Its Like Cattle Insemination words and music by Donneley Kay Teacher Evaluation, it's not like cattle insemination Takin' place out there on the farm It's an examination or maybe an observation, To make sure we ain't doin' kids no harm……… We get in there in August We do it because we must Recommend the changes That we need And if we plant the seeds right We'll find out that we just might Add another awesome teacher Teacher to the breed (chorus) Now there's that word called tenure It kind of rhymes with manure And smells the same If you should step in it You'd better have a timeline And watch how you write each line Oh, did I mention………………… Carefully document?????

Free Evaluation Template……… If you would like a free copy of my effective teacher behaviors template, please me at I Feel free to modify it any way you wish…………. I would appreciate any suggestions for improvement as I am going to be working on improving some of these tools this summer at the Master Teacher Academy in SF.
