Teddy’s Early Life Grew up very wealthy in NY in late 1800s Learned from a young age that people are not better because they are wealthy “Morals first, then health, then academics…”

Mom and wife die on same day then he…… …goes to the Badlands of North Dakota and lives as a rancher for 2 years. Earns respect and friendship of cowboys, Native Americans, and adventurerers Knocks a cowboy out with 1 punch for making fun of his shirt
