New ODSA Policy

ODSA Policy Over the last few months ODSA has engaged the services of the Centre for Sport & Law to write and update many required and out dated organizational policies and documents. 22 new policies and documents have been created or updated, many of which are core requirements of the Ministry of Health Promotion and base funding. So we are readying ourselves for the 2009/2010 base funding cycle. Other documents are necessary in the day to day operations of a PSO to better protect its board, members and staff. These services were paid for under a grant in 2008 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Policies and documents written fall into three areas. Much of this policy can be borrowed and adopted by member clubs, it’s professionally written by lawyers and has been paid for by the ODSA.
