Final Writeup Common to all members on a team. –Your final 4 design alternatives Save these things to your H-drive so you have a record for your portfolio –Save screen prints. (e.g. in Word file) –Save output tables (in Excel, or copy into Word) Include in your write up for each design alternative –A screen print of bridge –The cost table –The list of members table –Compare alternatives Pugh process table Justify (in words) your selection and how you chose and weighted the different criteria. –A copy of the template for the winning bridge –A copy of the Excell spreadsheet for scaling the bridge –A digital picture of your completed bridge.

Each individual will add A one-page write up on each of the following topics –Explain/describe what you learned during the bridge activities. Also comment on what you could have done differently to enrich your own learning experience and the learning experiences of other members of your group. –Describe the ways in which each member of your bridge team (including yourself) did or did not contribute to the success of the project. In light of these contributions, do you feel that your team functioned successfully? Explain why or why not. Give specific examples to support your opinion. If you do not feel that the team functioned well, what could the team have done differently to improve its functioning? –Consider the four goals of the general studies program at Portland State University ( Pick two of the goals and analyze the ways in which this unit on bridge building provided you with an opportunity to expand your skills/awareness/experience in the areas described by the goals.
