 The purpose of the following pieces of equipment and software is to bolster up our dismal weight room. As a result, students will be more inclined to improve upon their overall fitness.

 Currently, students lack of motivation hinders performance in the weight room.  Students will gravitate to the new options they now have.  This upgrade consists of current and popular pieces of equipment and software.  The benefits are overwhelming as the weight room will be appealing to students.

 The American Heart Association recommends minutes of aerobic exercise three to four times peer week to promote cardiovascular fitness.  According to the Department of Health, only about 22 percent of Americans report regular sustained physical activity (activity of any intensity lasting 30 minutes or more 5 times a week).  My initiative will assist in stopping this disturbing trend!

 14 inch diameter ball with a soft shell makes it easy to handle.  Comes in 4, 12, or 20 pound increments.  Purpose- Allows you to strike balls with arms and legs for more diverse training. Shell design and construction ensure that ball remains dimensionally stable and balanced.

 Use- Provides functional resistance during any fitness, sport, or rehabilitation exercise. Ideal for rotational movements, core exercises of many types and dynamic strength.  Cost- $69.95-$ each (depending on weight of ball).  Source dynamax-medicine-balls.aspx#tabs-3http:// dynamax-medicine-balls.aspx#tabs-3
