DREAM ASIA SCHOOL CHALLENGE 2 Show case of Dream Asia This project will introduce each school in Qatar to adopt the value of AFC Dream Asia as an important tool to educate young people for their better future. Focusing on three key elements: Harmony Mutual Understanding Social Cohesion

DREAM ASIA SCHOOL CHALLENGE Objectives 1.To guide youths who are from different cultural backgrounds into a life of harmony, mutual understanding and social cohesion thus becoming members of society who can live for the good. 2.To engage with various sectors of society in Qatar to sustain youth development and education 3.To highlight the AFC ASIAN CUP Qatar 2011 as the platform to enhance AFC and Qatar’s commitment for social development in Asia 3

DREAM ASIA SCHOOL CHALLENGE Who are the participants All participants must be from Doha and must show the understanding of the concept of Harmony, Mutual Respect, Social Cohesion and cultural knowledge of the rest of Asia. Selection Process 1.Informing a criteria to the each school 2.School encourages and guides the participants 3.Participants apply to website with team name, list and biography 4.Participants must describe how to bring harmony, mutual understanding and social cohesion and will demonstrate them by cultural performance 5.Participants will be selected on 11 January. 6.Each school teacher will accompany their representative students on event day

DREAM ASIA SCHOOL CHALLENGE PHASE 2 (January, 2010) 1. Education Programme (4 different session for different groups) Understanding the diversity and harmony in Qatar and Asia by ROTA’s affiliated GA/NGO Education for healthy life style by QRC Motivational talk (by Embassy, high commission officials or current coaches) 2. Cultural Exchange Programme Each team will demonstrate their own cultural performance a-side mini Football Tournament Playing 3-a-side football at three sided football pitch with 3 teams 4. Award Winners and selected participants will be presented their medals during half time of 3 rd and 4 th match of AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2011 Fair Play Award/ Dream Asia School Challenging Award 9
