Computer Memory Chips Vs. Human Memory Computer Memory Chips Vs. Human Memory Agenda.Introduction.What does ( memory ) mean ?.Brain memory V.S computer memory !?.The fusion between human carbon and artificial silicon!!

Introduction E veryday, we all use computers and store enormous amount of data for further processing, we also have memory storage facilities in mobile phones, play stations & televisions too This started from calculators and the most recent flash memories. Recently with the rise of external hard disk the memory capacity storage has become almost infinite

What does ( memory ) mean ? In psychology, it is an organism's mental ability to store, retain, and recall information. In psychology, it is an organism's mental ability to store, retain, and recall information. From an information processing perspective there are three main stages in the formation and retrieval of memory. From an information processing perspective there are three main stages in the formation and retrieval of memory.

three main stages in the formation and retrieval of memory Encoding receiving, processing and combining of received information. storage creation of a record of the permanent encoded information.Retrieval calling back the stored information in response to some cue for use in a process or activity.

Human Brain: The Power House of Everything.! So far, we have never heard of anybody's brain being "overloaded" because it has ran out of memory. Human Brain weighs more than electronic memory storage devices. It is bigger too. It may be slower in performing some calculations than computers. It may not perform all automated jobs that a computer performs.

Human Brain: The Power House of Everything.! W e all know that the memory of the brain is not absolute (the average brain can hold about 100 million megabytes of memory !!!). It does not have set files or directories that can be deleted, copied or archived like those of a computer. For example, a particular person who thought he had memorized a telephone number for good suddenly realizes he can't recall the number. But some half-a-day later, he may suddenly recall the number again.) It is a strange phenomenal that we still can't really explain

Human Brain: The Power House of Everything.! T he beauty of Human Brain is it can analyze, integrate, decide, learn, teach etc... And many such things which computer memories can't. The computer memory can hold various details, but cannot understand. For e.g.; It can get the details of Sun in few micro-seconds, but it cannot understand or see the Sun. It can calculate and store distance between stars and planets, but it doesn't know what they are..! It can save data and store complicated records, but Human Brain creates a purpose for those data. The improvements in every inch of the memory storage devices are done with Human Brains, but all these developments are for the Humans, by the Humans.

Human Brain: The Power House of Everything.! T he Human Brain can process emotions too. It controls the most complex mechanism, the most complex machine in the world..." The Human Being"...! The brain has various sections performing various tasks. Emotional centre takes care of the emotions, the memory centre stores data which can be processed with any kind of matter, it has nervous centre which controls every movement and reflexes of Human Being. When we talk about the memory storage capacity of Human Brain, it is definitely infinite...! One should keep in mind that whatever we see is what we learn. Whatever we experience is what we learn & this learning is end-less…

Computers & Other memory storage devices !! C omputers have more than one form of memory. We can generally classify them into primary and secondary memory. Primary memory is used as a form of temporary memory for calculation processes and storage of temporary values. Secondary memory often comes in the form of hard disks, removable disk drives and tape drives. Secondary memory is used for the storage of most of a system's data, programs and all other permanent data that should stay there even when the power is turned off.

Computers & Other memory storage devices !! C omputers have limited memory capacity, even though we have lots of additional external aids for memory storage like external hard disks, flash memories, memory cards etc.. These devices are just electronic devices which store data. These data gets distributed around various "sectors" on a compact disk or the memory slot. These are stored in a language which are only "0"s & "1"s. They can be arranged, edited, formatted, and retrieved when ever required. Let us say for e.g. we have a computer of memory 160 GB

Computers & Other memory storage devices !! S o we can store data s up to say 140 GB easily. After that there is always a limitation that it can no more accept data. The effect of such huge memory storage results in slowing down the processor. So the speeds of retrieval or any operation performed are slow. These are also used in "Black Boxes" of an aircraft to store data which remains undistracted even after plane crash. These types of memories are modified to store data.

The fusion between human carbon and artificial silicon N ow, we r going to talk about fusion of human carbon and artificial silicon, as an example; if our memory became weak we can put this chip and store the information we want and recall it at anytime we want., So we can use this ideas in education that the college(student) will not have to concentrate on words said as all words will be recorded to this memory,so the concept of education will change totally and meaning of intelligent too..

The fusion between human carbon and artificial silicon For a Practical example, this fusion was applied on mice, they found that they can produce thoughts from one mouse to another, the signal electronically goes to the another mouse in other lab. Do u see where the technology goes!!!!
