Get up and try to find someone who… Has never been on a date Has a boyfriend Has had an amazing first kiss Has a partner of a different nationality Would like to date a Westerner Doesn’t like to go on dates Thinks arranged marriages are better than dating

Go Dutch on a first date or pay yourself? Date a smart partner or a rich partner? Date a good looking partner or a funny partner? Date someone very good looking who’s very flirtatious or not good looking but very loyal? Date a rich partner with no sense of humor or a poor partner who’s funny? Go on a first date to a McDonalds for free or to Beijing Hotel and pay? Go on a first date to a park in the winter or the zoo on a July afternoon? Introduce your partner to your parents first, or be introduced to your partner’s parents? Date someone with low self esteem or someone who is cocky?

Read these one by one. Do you agree? Why? Couples who like each other should kiss on the first date The man should always ask the girl out first Couples shouldn’t have sex until they’re engaged A couple should know each other at least 2 months before going out on a date A couple should date for 2 years before getting married The man should be older than the woman Parents must approve of a spouse “Dating sucks, but being single sucks just a little more” “No relationship is ever a waste of time. If it didn’t bring you what you wanted, it taught you what you don’t want.”

What is the best date you’ve ever been on? What is the worst date you’ve ever been on? If you could date a celebrity, who would it be? What do you think is the best place for a 1 st date? What are some good activities to do on a 1 st date? What is the best date you’ve ever heard of? (think of friends’ dates, movies, tv, books, etc.)

Think about the perfect date Fill out the sheet with different activities, places and descriptions Work in groups of 2-3 (a group of 4 becomes two groups of 2) Discuss what would be best

Ask each other about last night’s “date” Pretend you went on the date you wrote What did you do? Where did you go? What did you talk about? What was he/she like? Do you want to see him/her again? Did you do anything else? Change partners often!

Put this to use by… Take the ideas from these great dates Book reservations for the places Take your best girl/guy out for a great night!
