This is a get together just for the special classes that were chosen to pilot Personalized Learning at SBES. We want you to be a part of this exciting new adventure, so please plan to attend. Reading/Lang. Arts – Mrs. Fulton In Reading, we are continuing to work on character traits, actions, feelings, and motivations. We are also touching on point of view. Here are some questions to ask when you are reading with your child: 1.How would you describe this character? (personality traits rather than physical traits) 2.Why do you think the character did that? 3.How did the character’s traits and actions effect the ending of the story? 4.Whose point of view is the story told from? 5.How would the story change if it was told from the point of view of a different character in the book? In Language Arts, we will be finishing up with verbs (verb tenses, irregular verbs, and noun-verb agreement) and moving on to adjectives.
