Harassment / Discrimination Annual District Training

Definition Unlawful behavior based on the race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, genetic information or disability of an employee involving intimidation by threats of or actual physical violence; the creation, by whatever means, of a climate of hostility or intimidation, or the use of language, conduct, or symbols in such a manner as to be commonly understood to convey hatred or prejudice. Prohibition Harassment/Discrimination is prohibited at all times on school property and off school grounds during school-sponsored activities. This prohibition also applies to visitors to the school who may come into contact with employees and students. Guidelines If you believe harassment/discrimination is occurring, YOU SHALL REPORT IT, in each school building the person to report to is the PRINCIPAL. If the principal is the one harassing or discriminating, report to the SUPERINTENDENT If the employee isn’t assigned to a particular school then the report is made to the immediate supervisor or the Superintendent Reports May be made to the Title IX Coordinator, Darren Sparkman
