Some day Some day British or other foreign businessman, engineers and students may come on a visit to our small town. Everybody knows that M-Kurgan is a developing area. Rural and industrial enterprises are working and being built in our district. That’s why we suggest a guided tourist excursion around our native land.

We’ll meet our guests at Rostov airport and then they will be taken to M-Kurgan by bus. During the trip visitors will enjoy wonderful landscape and listen to their guide.

They show the huge contribution of the Don Cossacks to economic cultural prosperity of the South of Russia. Many sights of the Don fand are well-known not only in Russia, but also it is far behind its borders: you can see extensive collections Scythian, Sarmatian and alan`s gold, ruins of the most northern Greek city Tanais, ramparts, the Genoa wall, Alekseevsky gate and the Powder cellar in Azov, ancient Cossack курени in villages Old Cherkassk and Razdorsky, farms of Puhljakovsk and Kanygin, the Anninsk`s fortress near a village of Old Cherkassk, the Customs outpost of the XVIII-th century in Aksay, Triumphal arches and the Atamansk`s palace in Novocherkassk, A.P.Chehov's small house in Taganrog, a complex of constructions of the Cathedral for the sake of Christmas Presvjatoj of the Virgin and a building of the Academic drama theatre by M.Gorkiy in Rostov-on-Don, the house-manor of the Nobel prize winner M.A.Sholohov in a village Veshensky.

When we are in M-Kurgan we’ll start our excursion from the building of local authorities and present our guests the district flag and emblem.

Our district like different Regions in Russia has its own Flag and emblem. The patriotic colors of our rural district are red, green and yellow. They symbolize freedom, kindness and fertility.

Our small town differs little from tens of other quiet provincial towns of Russia. Everything here is simple and quiet.We can’t help showing the guests our churches with their gilded domes. We can’t boast they are master pieces, but they are the real heart and soul of our people.

M-Kurgan has a rich history and monument are the real memory. Who can object the well-Know phrase: “Those who don’t remember their past have no future” There are 67 monuments in our district, 49 of them were created in honor of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.
