My 6 opening offers I’ve chosen my 6 offers to be winter boots. I’ve chosen winter boots because it’s about to get very cold outside, and that means cold feet. People don’t want to have cold feet during the winter, and therefor they want to go to the new ECCO store and buy themselves a nice pair of winterboots. I’ve chosen to offer both men, women and kids’ winter boots, so that the whole family will visit the store, and hopefully they will buy them.

Target groups My offers goes out to the whole family, because I’ve chosen to offer winter boots for both mom, dad and the children. Winter boots is for everyone during the winter, and everybody wants a pair!

My Poster – the AIDA model The AIDA model is a model used to describe how a commercial is built. A as in Attention, I for Interest, D for Desire and finally A again, which stands for Action. On my poster with the offers I’ve used a red sign that says ”Special offers”. I’ve chosen a red sign because it’s very catchy, and it will get the consumer’s attention. To get the consumer’s interest I’ve chosen some red signs saying ”-20%”, and pictures of the boots. Also, I have written some text which is green. It’s christmas colours, and therefor I think people are going to notice. D as in desire: I’ve chosen some very nice boots, and I’m sure they are going to be sold, because they are so cool. Finally A, as in Action! The action is the last thing in the AIDA model, and it has to be the factor that makes people buy the boots. I’ve created a catchy poster, and then I’ve put a ECCO logo on the poster, so that they all know the boots can be found in the ECCO store.

Other kinds of advertising Disadvantages and andvantages Instead of a poster I’ve could have used a TV- commercial or a radio commerical. But the disadvantages of using TV and radio is that some people don’t watch TV or listen to the radio that often. On the other side, I think TV and radio is better, because you can explain more things in a running commercial, compared to a poster. A poster is good, if it’s catchy, because then people will notice what it says, and in London many people are walking on the street, so they are going to see it.

Opening day event To get as many costumers as possible, I have to make a nice event. I’ve chosen to get a Santa Claus in the store, who will share some sweets! I’m sure that will make a lot of children come visit the store. For the adults I’m going to make some entertainment like singing, dancing and acting – of course all christmas related, so people will feel the christmas deeply in their hearts. To make to store look nice, it will be decorated with all kinds of christmas stuff! ECCO says Merry Christmas!
