March 21, 2000 – Letters of agreement signed with the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the American Society of Safety Engineers May 14, 2001 – Declaration of Cooperation signed with the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association July 2001 – BEAC becomes an organizational member of the National Organization for Competency Assurance Milestones

November 19, 2003 – First CPEA in Management System granted (Karl Kimball) January 23, 2004 – BEAC signs agreement with the American Chemistry Council (ACC) for Responsible Care® certification using the BEAC Management System exam February 12, 2004 – BEAC certification is accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards

Milestones July 26, 2004 – First CPEA in Responsible Care® granted (Don Lisman) April 22, 2005 – BEAC signs agreement with the ACC and RABQSA to provide a new Responsible Care® examination October 27, 2005 – BEAC approves Midland Engineering Ltd., as the first RCMS Audit Service Provider June 8, 2007 – BEAC holds its first exam outside of the United States
