Assessing Teachers & Technological Expertise What do your teachers know about technology? What is their comfort level? What do they use for instruction? How to plan for staff development!

Using Google docs to assess teacher comfort levels with technology With Google Docs, administrators can design and distribute surveys assessing teacher use of technology. This knowledge becomes a valuable tool and can be used to: - Review staff implementation of available technology and address teacher weaknesses in this area -Survey teachers wants and needs in regard to technology, using this information to guide technology purchases. - Plan staff development
