Size & Color Size: 45 to 55 inches Color: Black & White, with stripes

Diet They are Herbivores, so they eat grass & wildebeests.

Habitat Woodlands in open plains.

Range They live in Africa

Reproduction Their babies are born alive.

Enemies Lions Hyenas Hunting Dogs Leopards Cheetahs Some Humans

Protection When a herd gets attacked, the form a circle, so their protected from every angle. If a family member is hurt they surround the family member from attack.

Endangered? No, there are over 10,000 herds of them!

Interesting Facts Romans called Grevy's zebras 'hippotigris' and trained them to pull two-wheeled carts for exhibition in circuses.
