Aerodrome Safety Workshop - Almaty, Kazakhstan - 18 to 22 November PURPOSE (1)  The aerodrome manual is a fundamental requirement of the certification process.  It contains all the pertinent information concerning the aerodrome site, facilities, services, equipment, operating procedures, organization and management including the safety management system.

As such it forms one part of the basis upon which the CAA grants an Aerodrome Certificate.
