Is when teachers make an effort to adjust their instruction to accommodate different students. In after school programs you have little control over how many students you have from various grades, therefore you have to adjust your strategies to accommodate the students present.

Have older students help younger students. Use different materials for different ages. Give students options. Learn the needs of your students. Create groups based on grade levels as well as learning levels.

How would you accommodate your instruction? How would you adjust your materials and programs to accommodate the different students? In what ways would you utilize the different grades/ages? How would you coordinate your staff? In what ways would you try to differentiate your students? You have 58 students total, and you have 4 staff plus a site coordinator. Kindergarten: 11 1 st grade: 8 2 nd grade: 5 3 rd grade: 9 4 th grade: 10 5 th grade: 4 6 th grade: 3 7 th grade: 5 8 th grade: 3
