Mandatory Daily Physical Requirements (DPA) All BC students must complete their DPA in both Grades 11 and 12. The DPA requires 150 minutes (2 ½ hours) of moderate to intense physical activity each week, ideally spaced over 5 days. Skills Exploration 11/12  Skills Exploration will allow students to gain hands-on experience in important trade sectors.  Students are introduced to core skills common to many trades.

Skills Exploration 11/12 4 Units: Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing & Welding  Theory will be addressed in each unit, but the course is primarily skills-based  Safety certificate earned  Construction site tours  Field trips to BCIT and/or VCC  Year long course  Recommended for practical and theoretical purposes!
