PROBLEM STATEMENT The goal of our project is to promote engineering and inspire young students to become interested in Engineering. To do this, we are going to build an R2-D2 unit that has an array of features and can be used with students.
PROJECT BACKGROUND We choose to build R2-D2 because as young children we were all inspired by Star Wars. Star Wars is so recognizable by everyone so we figured R2-D2 is the perfect robot to build to inspire young children. We want an esthetically pleasing, functional R2-D2 since our predecessor did not complete their project.
