WBTi – Action so far Initiated in 51countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America in the year more countries have been included in the process recently in the Arab world & Africa, Burkina Faso. 28 country reports are uploaded on the website, process is on in remaining countries The average score on all the 15 indicators for the 28 countries is 82.8/150, ranging from for Sri Lanka and for Malawi to a low of 32.5 for Taiwan.

Conclusions The World Breastfeeding Trends initiative Acts as a lens to highlight the gaps in policies and planning on IYCF Helps initiating action at national level to improve the policies and programmes. It has started showing some positive impacts and hopefully will continue to do so in future.
