1 st Look 2 nd Look Student was determined ineligible in a previous screening. Student will be given alternative assessment for areas that s/he did not qualify. Student’s eligibility is determined by qualifying scores and evaluated via the gifted eligibility team. Student is initially referred for testing. Data is gathered in 4 areas. Test scores will be returned to individual schools by the Office of Gifted and Talented Eligibility team will meet to discuss test results and complete eligibility reports for students tested. Gifted teacher will enter test data into the State Reporting Fields and Gifted and Talented Tab for all eligible and ineligible students. Analysis

Eligibility team will send eligibility report to parents notifying them of their child’s status. The Gifted teacher will hold a placement meeting with parents of eligible students to explain the eligibility report and gifted services in APS. The Gifted teacher files signed eligibility report in gifted confidential file and PR. The Gifted teacher will file ineligible reports in the Gifted Confidential Binder. Eligibility
