Mission Moment – Road to Recovery Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment, but some may not have a way to get there. A volunteer based program – Drivers donate their time and vehicle – Coordinators arrange rides between patients and drivers Provide transportation for cancer patients to and from medical appointments Transportation is one of the top 2 needs requested by patients

ACS CAN 1/20/2015 ACS CAN is that movement, bringing together cancer survivors, patients, and caregivers and making the voice of the cancer community heard in the halls of government. ACS Priorities Increase Federal Funding Access to Care Improving Quality of Life for Cancer Patients Research and Prevention CDC Cancer Control Programs Why give to ACS CAN? Your donation will help support: Grassroots campaigns that persuade lawmakers to support laws and policies proven to help people fight cancer; Training for volunteers to make them effective advocates; Voter guides to hold officials and candidates accountable for their positions on cancer-related issues.

2015 Event Details -Need to set up on Friday if possible. Field available all day. Will have security overnight. -Minimize driving across track. Will try to have golf carts and trailers available. -Lighters (2 per team) -Candles / Glow Sticks -Dunk Tank (Volunteers needed) 1/20/2015
