Helping the Rocket Scientists A Mathematics project for Grade 10 How High Did It Fly?

Learning outcomes By the end of this project you will be able to: Measure angles of elevation Measure angles of elevation Use your knowledge of similar triangles to find ways of measuring the heights of objects Use your knowledge of similar triangles to find ways of measuring the heights of objects Find the answer to Mlu and John’s question, “How high did it fly?” Find the answer to Mlu and John’s question, “How high did it fly?”

So What Is The Problem? Mlu and John need help. For their EXPO project they need to know how high their rocket went. Can you help them figure it out? (insert video clip when edited)
