 Bestselling author born on May 19, 1966, in Nesconset in Long Island in New York  Studied creative writing at Princeton and had two short stories published in Seventeen magazine  Awarded New England Bestseller Award for Fiction  She and her husband Tim now live in Hanover, New Hampshire with their three children

 Born October 27, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts  She was an exceptional student despite the depression she went through in 1953  She married Ted Hughes  Ted left Plath and as a result she fell into deep depression that winter  On February 1963 she committed suicide using her gas oven  The Collection of Poems won her the Pulitzer Prize  First poet to win Pulitzer Prize after death

 Khalad Hosseini was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1965  Hoseini’s family moved to San Jose California in 1980  His first novel The Kite Runner has become a international bestseller published in 70 countries and he was equally as successful with his second novel, A Thousand Splendid Suns  Khalad has been working through The Khalad Hosseini Foundation inspired by a trip to Afghanistan Khalad had made in 2007
