re Frame Photos South Elementary PTO will be taking student pictures on Monday, October 6 th starting at 8:30 am. 4x6 prints will be available for purchase at Fall Festival on October 24 th. Stephanie Brown, of Stephanie’s Creative Photography, from Hurdle Mills, NC, has donated her time to take individual pictures of our students. The pictures will be similar to the photo shown at right. Please see the attached sheet for information on Fall Festival. There will be several changes this year, so be sure you read carefully! Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education & Tyson Project A+ Beginning in October 2014, we will be collecting Labels for Education and Tyson Project A+ labels. These will work the same way as our Box Tops for Education campaign. Students can turn in labels in the office in the containers marked "Labels for Education” or “Tyson Project A+." Don't forget to be sure they have not expired, cut each one along the dotted lines, put in a baggie with your child's name, teacher name and grade. Prizes will be awarded each month to the student who collects the most for that month! The deadline will be the 20 th day of each month. South Elementary Discount Card Fundraiser We have contacted several area merchants and created a South Elementary Eagles Discount Card. The card includes various discounts at the following locations: Bojangle’s (Yanceyville) Dunham’s Sports (B’ton & Danville) Dunkin Donuts (B’ton/S. Church St.) Envy Hair Salon (Yanceyville) Family Dollar (Yanceyville) Hardee’s (Yanceyville) La Cocina (Mebane) McDonald’s (Yanceyville) O’Kelly’s (all locations) Pizza Hut (Roxboro) Subway (Yanceyville) Sweet Frogs (Danville) Texas Roadhouse (Burlington) Venice Italian Restaurant (Yanceyville) Yanceyville Drug Store Yoder’s Country Market (Yanceyville) YoZone (B’ton/B’ton Square Mall) We will be sending home an order form with your child for you to collect your orders and payment. Each card will cost $10. Cards will be sent home once payment has been received. Please help us make this an awesome fundraiser for South! PTO no longer will be allowed to have the sno- cone and popcorn fundraisers during school hours due to the decision made by the Board of Education. However, we are trying to come up with fundraisers to incorporate healthy snacks. We’ll keep you posted! Congrats to Alyssa Oakley for collecting the most Box Tops for the month of Aug/Sept.
