Mid-South Chapter Goals Provide education and networking through F2F and virtual venues – Host Monthly Chapter Meetings (10 meetings/yr) – Conduct one meeting/quarter outside of HSV – Conduct Monthly Officers Meeting – Government and Commercial focus Grow Membership – 2013: From 18 to 36 – 2014: From 36 to 72 – 2015: From 72 to 144 Grow Corporate Sponsorships – 2013: From 0 to 5 – 2014: From 5 to 10 – 2015: From 10 to 15 Establish partnerships with Universities & Associations – e.g., UAH, FIT, Vanderbilt, PMI, NCA Create, maintain, and grow a professional Chapter Website Broaden awareness of APMP by issuing at least one Press Release per quarter

Vice Chair - Update APMP Focuses on Winning – Everything at APMP is geared to help your team increase business by winning more proposals. Membership Actions Current APMP Members Contacted Lauren at APMP to get new APMP member list for those who live in our geographic area – received new list and contacted – 3 members with no affiliation – 2 members with NCA Chapter – 6 members in Georgia Chapter – 3 members in Florida Chapter From SPAC Registration List contacted – 3 people in Birmingham, 1 is member of Georgia, other 2 not members but from same company Initial and revised lists from APMP have been scrubbed and we have deleted all those who do not live in our Chapter Area.

Membership Actions Non-APMP Members Sent letter to 27 non-APMP members inviting them to the September monthly meeting and to join Mid-South Chapter – 3 attended the meeting – 3 others ed me they were busy and wanted to continue to receive s and invites. – 2 requested the charts 7 th Annual Rocket City GovCon Symposium – Reproduced 1 page flyer on our Chapter – Thanks Whitney! – Set up table with flyers and APMP Business Cards – Answered questions, handed out info Leads – 2 or 3 people said they would like to join 1 person is actually in Atlanta area and may join Georgia Chapter Dr. Stephen Granade would like to present to the group and will most likely join – this is good since Dynetics has a proposal center with artists, editors, and proposal managers here in Huntsville Mid-South Sept Meeting was on the KickStart Calendar – continue to send those to Hugh Stanley

Potential Member List Started Potential Member List. We need to determine where we maintain this list, how members can add to it, who is going to contact potential and follow up on all these actions. Suggest each member be able to invite their friends to join, instead of Membership/Marketing sending out a mass . We may get more members to join with a personal invite, and we need to track who is sent invites, so that people do not keep getting invites if they do not want to join.

Membership – Linked In Group Currently have 21 members in the Group Sent invites to Chapter members that have not joined LinkedIn Group To increase exposure on Linked In Members need to post discussions, links to interesting articles, etc. Members to invite others to join the group who are not APMP members Members can post status about Mid-South Chapter in their Activity Section
