Japan has two different flags, the main one being the one behind theses words. The other was mainly used during World War 2.

 The absolute location of Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, is 36° N, 1407° E Japan is 377,944 km squared

Geography Japan is mainly made up of city but also contains grasslands, mountains and volcanoes, and ice lands. Japan is located across from North and South Korea along with China The next slide will show the elevation map of Japan along with the climograph.

Japan is made up of islands divided into provinces that mainly contain city. Japan also has grasslands, mountains and volcanoes, along with ice land. Some man made features of japan include the Tokyo Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Todaiji Temple, Great Buddha of Kamakura, and the Golden Pavilion which will be explained in the next slide.

The Golden Pavilion Was originally built as a retirement villa for Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu Built in the 14 th century Was burned down in 1950 and rebuilt 5 years later. Gardens were added to emphasize peace and balance.
