Tragedy in Dallas Focus-On board..

Four Days in November  Nov Kennedy lands in Texas to “mend political fences.”  In an open-air limousine, Kennedy, his wife, and Texas Gov. John Connally waved on a warm crowd during a parade.  As the car approached a state building known as the Texas School Book Depository, rifle shots rang out and Kennedy had been shot in the head.  Kennedy died less than an hour after being shot.  Who had killed Kennedy and why?

Cont…  The next four days, people were glued to their t.v. sets waiting for news.  Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with the murder of JFK.  Strong evidence linked him to the murder. –Palm print on rifle –Suspicious past(Soviet/Cuba)

Cont…  Nov. 24-Oswald was shot and killed by a Dallas nightclub owner named Jack Ruby(ties to the mob)  …Recall exactly where they were  Unanswered questions: –Did Oswald act alone? –Was it some conspiracy? –Warren Commission concluded that Kennedy had been shot by Oswald on his own action.

Cont…  1979-Oswald killed Kennedy, but in a conspiracy with unknown people and that it was possible that two persons had fired at the president.  Anti-Castro Cubans?  Communist-sponsored attack?  CIA?  Mob?
