New York New York, The best of The Best!

eXacto lumber For our product we first thought of what our citizens use everyday and the truth is a lot of wood. We came up with a great new idea to get all of New York the lumber we need in a fast and simple way. We call it the eXacto lumber. The innovative piece of machinery has a simple smooth log to hold everything on, 4 wheels to make it move, and multiple hatchets for cutting. Also (not shown in diagram) there is a hook on the back to carry a wagon which may carry the lumber you collect. Using it is very simple and all citizens who need to cut wood will want one. Easy to use and efficient. Simply use the hatchet go up to a tree and spin. The tree comes down immediately. In a study done by the creators you get double the wood in half the time! Introducing the eXacto Lumber!

History The colony of New York was settled in 1624 on the Island of Manhattan but was originally called New Netherlands. Later, in 1626 it was changed to New York by Peter Minuit in honor of the Duke of York. Some important towns there were New York city and Albany. They had good farmland, beef, pork, furs, wheat, corn, hemp, flax timber, coal, and iron. The colony became a state in July 26, 1788.

People in colony There were lots of people in the New York colony; there was Alexander Hamilton who was known for his role as the principal author of federalist papers, and he also helped write the constitution. Jonas Salk was also famous for creating the first vaccine for polio, and Peter Minuit was the founder of New York

Climate and Geography The colony of New York had hot, humid Summers, and cold snowy winters. There were mountains, plains and hills and the Hudson River. Also lived Mohican, Wappinger, Munsee, Lenape, and Montawk tribes. New York also had good Farming soil which is why their crops thrived.

Economy New York colony had many ways to live, they had jobs for everyone in the colony you could be a farmer with acres of land to plant crops; you could have ships, timber, and livestock's. New York Economy is great because there is many jobs to choose from; like a barber, printer, and a miner.

Politics New York had a governor and an elected assembly, with religious freedom. The first state constitution in The capital was Albany, but before that it was Kingston, White Plains, Poughkeepsie, and New York City. Albany was finaly selected as Permanent site in 1797.

Native relations Colonists from the New York colony made peace with the Native American tribes that surrounded the colony. They relied on peaceful relationships with the natives for fur in order to make money; the Poosputuck and the Unkeechaug were the tribe that surrounded the colony.

Flair New York, New York I want to wake up in a city, that never sleeps To find I'm a number one, head of the list, Cream of the crop at the top of the heap. These little town blues, are melting away I'm gonna make a brand new start of it, in old New York If I can make it there, I'm gonna make it anywhere It's up to you, New York, New York Start spreading the news, I'm leaving today I want to be a part of it, New York, New York These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray Right through the very heart of it, New York, New York I want to wake up in a city, that doesn't sleep And find I'm king of the hill, top of the heap These little town blues, are melting away I'm gonna make a brand new start of it, in old New York If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere It's up to you, New York, New York New York

Conclusion In conclusion New York seems like a pretty great place to make our eXacto lumber and all of us in New York wish you choose the best colony to make their product.
