New Hanover County Slide 10 Training is extremely important Department of Environmental ManagementOctober 2014 When selecting a vendor, ask if they will provide training to your employees in basic HHW skills like identification, blending, packaging, labeling, PPE, safe handling, etc. SWANA offers a HHW/CESQG certification course. HAZWOPR training is also beneficial, but not required. You will need to develop an Operations Plan as part of your permit application, and the local fire district will require you to have spill and fire prevention and response plans on file.
