MAKING YOUR RESUME SELL YOU How do you make sure your resume is visible to the right people and for the right jobs? Networking; Career fairs; Job websites such as ( ; Corporate websites in job sections);

INTERVIEW PREPARATION Know Your Stuff – Know your resume inside and out; Research what job you’re applying for and know what you’re getting yourself into. Know Who You’re Stuffing – Research everything about the company (their products, location of their HQ, their competition, any new news about them, the vision of their company). Stuff Them – Incorporate the two above elements to sell yourself and show that you’re confident and you have the ability to thrive in that role.

Working The Interview What to bring: multiples copies of your resume, professional attire, confidence, more than 10 questions for interviewers, print-outs of research pertaining to their firm What to say: the truth, answer questions directly, tell about your job and educational experiences, tie your skills into the job you’re interviewing for, have stories relating to your adaptive skills (how you managed a team of your peers on a project) What to do: look the interviewer in the eyes, smile, take notes, ask questions at the opportune time

MOCK INTERVIEWS #1 You’re interviewing for a Technology Research Analyst position which is part of a 10 person research team. Responsibilities include: using the internet, magazines, technology journals, and other publications to compile information on new featured electronics such as video/web enhanced mobile phones, gaming platforms (Xbox, PS…), computers and much more.

MOCK INTERVIEWS #2 You’re interviewing for a Sales Assistant position as part of the Phat Farm/Baby Phat Companies. Responsibilities include: taking orders from distributors via phone and .
