jis - associates How we do it We believe in the power of people Assessment Develop Report MarginSales Risk People Assess maturity levels of “organization” View of Key Development Areas days 4 Introduction of proposed Best Practices & Tools Workshops and One on One sessions Sessions over months with repeated follow- up and coaching Long Term Effort Learning Report Best Practices and Tools Structures and Processes Focused Programs Variable number of days 1 2 3

jis - associates  We start our work with an assessment of your Organization, where segment of specific discipline (Execution, Sales, Development Project, Acquisition, Integration, etc.) are being addressed.  A number of factors such as Values and Behaviors, Governance and Reporting, Capabilities and Resource Management, are assessed and ranked against known criteria rated from Basic to World Class.  Reporting is in the form of a narrative supported by reference materials and graphics; recommendations are noted and a time and value to move up the scale is presented where possible. You can stop here or move to the individual program(s) phase. We believe in the power of people Assessment Phase

jis - associates Individual initiative phase  In the Individual Program Phase we offer more development possibilities. This phase is a deep dive into concerns in one or more areas:  Margin Slippage  Sales Stabilization  Risk Management  People Development.  While these initiatives are interrelated you can focus on any or all of them.  Our strength is in our experience in execution and our ability to see differences between reflexive activities and behaviors that imped progress.  Using our knowledge and information from you and your key people, we will suggest the program that best meets your expectations. We believe in the power of people

jis - associates Margin Protection  Due diligence and assessment pre-contract  Execution team set-up and support during offer  Execution planning and follow-up  Rigorous reviews setting goals, rewards, team commitment  Supporting functions involved and aligned  Customer expectations balanced with capabilities We believe in the power of people Margin protection Sales stabilization Risk management People development

jis - associates Sales Stabilization  Pipelines discipline established  Priorities and expectations set  Reviews for fit, budget, capacity, competence, risks  Customer development  Managing expectations of top management / customer / support teams  Standards development We believe in the power of people Margin protection Sales stabilization Risk management People development

jis - associates Risk Management  Identification and assessment  Action / Owner assigned and coached  Risk standards with a clear escalation policy  Review process at top management flowing down to and up from sales and projects  Mitigation and Planning We believe in the power of people Margin protection Sales stabilization Risk management People development

jis - associates People Development  Leadership Identification and Assessment  Leadership Development  Organizational Transformation  Coaching and Team Building  Mentoring and Skills Training  Rewards We believe in the power of people Margin protection Sales stabilization Risk management People development

jis - associates Best Practices and Tools Phase  From the previous two phases we will find best practices that are used in your organization. Those that are not mature or not universally used, cumbersome or in other ways in need of upgrading, will also be addressed.  We will also bring our view of best practices that we feel are beneficial and can be implemented.  Best Practices and Tools are mutually supportive. At this phase a look at the nature and relationship between them is critical. Updated or advanced tools installed without the complimentary practices and behaviors is counter productive. There is often a slip in mood when tools are introduced without careful integration of the practices in place. We believe in the power of people

jis - associates Structure and Processes Phase  Up to this point it is possible to address different issues and phases separately.  When we take structural and process change we strongly recommend that the People Development initiative should be on-going or complete. The reasoning is that the best structure or processes are in jeopardy of failure if you do not get “buy – in” of the people.  This is especially true when changes are radical or counter to cultural or historic norms. We believe in the power of people

jis - associates Learning The Learning Report is the final product of an initiative of any or all the above phases. Underlying what we do is the improvement in your performance. Without learning we are all doomed to repeat history. We believe in the power of people

jis - associates Final Thought If you are looking at this website you probably have a concern that falls into one or all of the individual initiatives we raise: Margin, Sales, Risk, People. We have stated that we do not believe in “one size fits all” and we believe learning is a critical skill to success. So if what you have seen here isn’t quite what you want to address we would be happy to talk and learn from you. Let’s start the conversation and see where it takes us.
