Eligibility Based Programs CTE – College & Career Academies: No minimum eligibility requirements for most academies General Ed Students and Students with 504 plans: 1 )Applicants to Jones CTE must have a minimum NWEA MAP percentile of 24 in both reading and math. 2) Students repeating the 8 th grade and students pushed into 8 th grade from 6 th grade due to age requirements ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for the CTE Selective Academies Students with IEPs and Students Receiving Bilingual Ed. Online Application Process Online site: apply.cps.edu All eighth grade students receive an Eligibility Letter that contains a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to be used for the online site. If a student is applying to schools with admissions screenings – tests, information sessions, and auditions – they will first Schedule the appointments and then apply. All confirmation pages should be printed and kept in a safe place.
