IBNA Exam Performance by Subject and Level

After the exam  Teachers should complete the G2 Form which is a teacher’s comment form on the exam.  Important to complete this as this is the first thing examined at the Grade Award Meetings that take place within three to four weeks after the exams are written.  Students receive their results during the first week of July.

Preparing your students for the exams  Use of past papers for review (available for purchase at ibo.org/store).  Use of IB Question bank (available for purchase at ibo.org/store).  Mock exams.  Testing more than one unit on each unit test.  Best preparation is to use past questions as well as past markschemes.

Predicted Grades  IB teachers are required to submit “predicted grades” for each student before the year’s end. Predicted grades are used for a variety of purposes, including teacher evaluation and determination of grade distributions. The decision whether to release predicted grades to students, and presumable to colleges, is left to the individual high schools.
