Love Parade: called the "world's largest techno music festival and free party.” Besides techno music, there is also usually a lot of nudity, free spirited sexual adventures in public places and quite a bit of "general-purpose partying." Frankfurt's Book Fair: is the world's largest trade fair for books.

Austrian Cultural Events The Vienna New Years Concert: The Vienna Philharmonic plays concert of classical music each year on New Years. Narcissus Festival: the biggest flower parade in Austria. "All Saint′s Day": takes place on October 31st as day to commemorate the dead. Krampustag: this is the day on which young man dress up in fur, devi′s masks and get oxen tails and bundles of branches as weapons "Glöckler": Young men dressed up in white trousers and dress with large crest-hat decorations that are lit up from the inside and they walk from one door to another.
