SILOWEIGH.NET Complete silo / vessel inventory database system Gives accurate inventory at low cost Shows levels in all plant’s vessels on any computer Up to 8 vessels in one unit Handles divided silos Self-install kit, anyone can do it Internet company database Typical accuracy 2% of full scale

SUPPLIER/CUSTOMER CONNECTION Plant personnel view their own silos Head office views graphical history of all silos, all plants Supplier views levels in all customers’ silos, all plants Alarms trigger refill process automatically

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION Weldable strain gauges on front and back of leg More accurate, less costly than bolt-on sensors (Kistler Morse etc.) Can use 2 or 4 legs OK for 6 or more legs H-beam, O-beam, L-beam or square section legs Must have at least 1500 psi stress in leg Minimize temperature changes for best accuracy

Ready-Mix plant application Handles all the vessels in a single location Can gauge 2 or 4 legs depending on desired accuracy – 2% accuracy with 4 legs, 5% with 2 legs. You can even add the missing legs later to increase the accuracy.

HOW IT’S DONE Choose the location on leg Grind surface until smooth Drill cover mounting holes Weld gauges to leg Test gauges and connect All gauges daisy-chained from leg to leg and then from vessel to DAQ unit Seal gauges and fit cover Seal cover Test and calibrate Kit contains all materials

ADVANTAGES OVER OTHERS Strain gauges are more accurate because they are applied to both sides of leg, cancelling heat- induced stress Installation is not physically demanding – anyone with a steady hand can do it PC computer browser display allows everyone to read and use it Buy only the features and accuracy you need

DAQ UNIT FEATURES DAQ (data acquisition) unit converts silo signals to Internet page, viewable anywhere in local or wide area network Connects to local cable or wireless network via standard Ethernet cable No special software – uses any type of Internet browser on any computer Displays levels in vessels plus 4 types of alarm Simple programming/ calibration Does not need empty vessel for calibration

CONNECTIONS FOR DISPLAY

MORE DAQ FEATURES Link to SiloWeigh.Net Internet database is standard via lan and company Internet service Optional 8, 16 or 24 setpoint relays for alarm indication of emergency high / low levels etc. Optional 8 inputs for alarm cancel, baghouse overpressure switches etc. Optional serial RS232/RS485 data or isolated analog output connection to PLCs and control systems Optional data transmission to central database via telephone, cellular or satellite modem at low monthly cost

CONNECTION TO INTERNET DATABASE SERVER

ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATIONS When no direct Internet link from plant is available Telephone modem can be used – requires a wire from DAQ unit to phone service Cellular modem convenient but needs to be within service area Satellite modem, inexpensive to use because amount of data is small Globalstar or Iridium both compatible, good for remote areas, worldwide

INTERNET DATABASE SERVER Stores data from all vessels in company, regardless of location Any authorized person can view data through Internet site, anywhere in the world Select weight history for any vessel, any plant, any company, any material View trend graphs over any time period Automatic alarm alerts based on your criteria Connects to your company database / ERP system for automatic ordering, dispatching and truck fleet management

WEB DEMO AND LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS Server available at Prospects & dealers can view site and see demo any time Full demonstration via Internet by appointment. Call your dealer or Scale-Tron at com

INTERNET DATABASE Same database holds data for all companies Guaranteed operation with no data loss, backed-up daily Many standard graphs and reports Custom reports and special data can be added Can connect to and become an extension of your company ERP computer system

YOUR COMPANY DATA Your area in the database houses all sub- companies, divisions & plants Each plant holds data for all vessels Also stored is a record of all alarms for each vessel together with time and date Data is password protected and secured against hacker attacks

GRAPHS & COMMUNICATION Trend graphs can be zoomed to any time or date period Alarms flag when reordering is due Emergency deliveries can be eliminated TCP/IP link to other database makes connection to existing or new delivery scheduling system

BENEFITS OF THE SILOWEIGH.NET DATABASE Most companies have computerized their business. Imagine a cement company with database of products, stock, customers and delivery trucks. They need to know where to send deliveries each day. By knowing the inventory in each vessel at each plant, the loop is closed and the scheduling system is complete. The same applies to concrete companies and other industries who need to order materials SiloWeigh.Net gives you the ability to do this, automatically, all the time.

OTHER APPLICATIONS Grain – corn, wheat, rice etc. Animal feed mills Breweries Bakeries and food Plastics, chemicals Liquid tanks Mines, refining Asphalt storage Instead of vertical legs, use cross beams in interconnected frames (consult us) Do not use for trade Do not use for batching, bag filling or truck loading – not enough accuracy

OPPORTUNITIES Across the world, SiloWeigh.Net has a unique niche in the market. It has the highest accuracy at a modest cost, along with unique browser display and Internet database. Every cement company and many other industries are planning to automate deliveries or ordering. Here is a perfect solution at the right time – take advantage and be one step ahead of your competition, like we are!
