The Diocese of Canterbury In fact, the character of a community reflects the people in it! 25% of students are from continental Europe and Overseas (5000+) At any given time approx 600 students are active across 9 Christian groups/congregations on campus Over 50% of student population ‘self identify’ as Christian, even if they don’t currently attend church Significant Muslim population (with a mosque at edge of campus)..and many staff are well-known faces in churches in Canterbury area.
