The European Educational Interactive Site Educational Multimedia Taskforce MM1020 NETLogo Scope To establish and operate a European on-line presence to support and promote the use of Logo-based constructivist educational tools aiming at:  exploiting their pedagogical value in the primary and secondary European schools  creating a sustainable activity throughout which innovative Logo and Logo-like educational software will be available on the web

The European Educational Interactive Site Educational Multimedia Taskforce MM1020 NETLogo Objectives Create a sustainable focus where European teachers can go to learn about the use of innovative constructivist educational software in their classrooms. Put European teachers in touch with their peers in other EU member states to promote cross cultural exchange and understanding in the educational use of ICT. Enhancement of collaborative schemes and good practice examples through project-oriented work

Researchers and Developers: The researchers and developers are either software engineers or academics that explore and extend the use and capabilities of Logo as a learning tool in primary and secondary education. The European Educational Interactive Site Educational Multimedia Taskforce MM1020 NETLogo Web Site (2) Registered Users The registered users will be prompted to describe their user profile (submitting information about themselves and their preferences) and define their own “user login” and “password” They will be asked to log in for accessing the closed-area services Visitors An anonymous user is considered as visitor. Visitors can access only the open area and its services They will be provided with the opportunity to state their interest and receive via more NETLogo-related information

The European Educational Interactive Site Educational Multimedia Taskforce MM1020 NETLogo Added-value Services (1) The NETLogo On-line Teachers Training Course on Logo A complete on-line course covering a wide range of subjects related to the learning of Logo and its use in education (primary and secondary). The target group: the school teachers that use (or would like to use) Logo The On-line Logo-related School Activities Environment An on-line environment where a set of Logo-based educational activities appropriately designed and organised by the NETLogo pedagogical experts are offered together with the necessary existing tools and material. The target audience: will be all the NETLogo user groups, but mostly the school community users and particularly the teachers.

The target audience: school teachers and pupils and also Logo researchers and developers.
