WHAT ARE STEM CELLS? nonspecialized cells which have the potential to create other types of specific cells

Embryonic stem cells are master cells that can morph into any cell of the body.

Scientists believe that embryonic stem cells can provide tissues to replace defective organ tissues.

There could be new treatments for diseases that are currently incurable. Including diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson's disease and maybe even Alzheimer's, or new nerve connections to restore movement after spinal injury.

Economy? All of the stem cell research companies have shown a large loss of money between due to the veto of the Stem Cell research bill by President Bush. Job loss also occurred.
