R&HS Program Update 2010 New Streamer Criteria – Savannah – Large Post – 2 Required and 6 of 8 Desired – 3 Principal Criteria Collaborate and Conduct Outreach – One Required and three desired criteria Training and Education of Committee Members – One required and two desired criteria Committee Members Engage in Discussion of R&HS Outside of the Post – Three desired criteria

USACE Response Capabilities USACE Civil Disaster – Emergency Support Function #3 Lead under the National Response Framework – Cadres Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders Local Government Liaisons Structural Safety Assessment for Urban Search and Rescue – Subject Matter Experts – Planning and Response Teams Response: Power, Water, Ice, Infrastructure Assessment Recovery: Debris, Roofing /Rapid Repair, Housing/Critical Public Facilities – We have recently used team members for work in Haiti and Pakistan – and foresee more of this happening
