Gifted and Talented Record Transfer The following steps are for the person in charge of enrollment: Click on “KY State Importing Wizard” in order to import GT Records when they are enrolling a new student After clicking on the “Wizard”, the GT record page will be imported Scroll down several pages to view the GT Data Entry page Notify GT Coordinator/GT Teacher there is a new GT student in the district 29

General Intellectual Abilities (GI) Districts should use a norm-referenced full scale (verbal and non-verbal) test of intellectual ability Students must score at the 9 th stanine or above, unless special considerations are being utilized A few district examples are: Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) TerraNova Inview NOTE: Assessments should be normed every 8-10 years to keep up with current student population scores. 43
