QUARANTINE QUARANTINE CLOSES AT BIBS WILL BE DELIVERED AT THE QUARANTINE’S ENTRANCE THERE WILL BE ALL SERVICES YOU MAY NEED: WC, WATER REFRESHMENT, CLOTHES SERVICE TO ARRIVE. PLACE TO WARM UP WITH WARM UP MAP TENT S FOR REPAIRING

QUARANTINE SCHEME THE QUARANTINE AREA FOR THE RELAY WILL BE A DESIGNATED PART OF ARENA WHERE NO VIEW OF TV-SCREEN IS POSSIBLE. FIRST LEG RUNNERS IN WOMEN’S RELAY CAN GO TO THE START AT ALL WOMEN MUST SIGN IN AT THE QUARARTINE BEFORE CARD IS CONTROLLED AND CLEARED IN START AREA AND GPS UNIT GIVEN IN THE QUARANTINE AREA. FIRST LEG MEN’S RELAY MUST STAY IN QUARANTINE ZONE UNTIL SI CARD IS CONTROLLED AND CLEARED IN START AREA AND GPS UNIT GIVEN IN THE QUARANTINE AREA BETWEEN

START PROCEDURE FROM PRE-START: 1ST LEG RUNNERS ARE LED TO THE START. ALL RUNNERS FOR 2ND AND 3RD LEG ARE ALLOWED TO LEAVE QUARANTINE TO CHANGE-OVER THROUGH THE CORRIDOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES BEFORE LEADING TEAM’S CHANGE-OVER. DISTANCE FROM QUARANTINE TO CHANGE-OVER IS 100 METERS. TRANSPORTATION OF CLOTHES ARE AVAILABLE FROM PRE-START TO TEAM AREA. ONCE THE ATHLETES LEAVE THE QUARANTINE THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COME BACK. START: MAP STAND ON THE FLOOR IN FRONT OF COMPETITOR’S BEFORE THE START. ON THE BACK SIDE OF MAP ARE WRITTEN BIB AND LEG NUMBERS. START SIGNAL IS A GUN SHOT. CHANGE-OVER: THE CHANGE-OVER IS DONE BEFORE CROSSING THE FINISH LINE BY HAND TOUCH ACROSS A SEPARATION BARRIER. THE OUTGOING RUNNER FOLLOWS A MARKED ROUTE TO THE MAP BOARD AND TAKES THE MAP WITH THE TEAM’S START NUMBER AND LEG. IT IS THE COMPETITOR’S RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE THE CORRECT MAP. TRANSPONDER TAKE THE INTERMEDIATE TIME BEFORE THE CHANGE-OVER.
