Deaf Awareness Project The purpose of the Deaf Awareness Project is to draw attention to deaf people, their culture, accomplishments and their issues.

Iconic Sign Art Requirements 8.5 x 11” minimum size Use color Should be visible from about 15 feet away Name/class in SW on back English translation on front SignWriting translation on front Hands are pictured (may print out / trace) Motion is shown (arrows) A picture is used to describe your iconic sign The sign chosen must be truly iconic
