Jane Austen’s biography  Was born in 1775 in Hampshire in England  She was the seventh child out of eight  In 1783 she moved to Southampton  she went to Abbey boarding school  1782 and 1784 plays were staged by the Austen family  In 1801 she and her family moved to Bath where the most productive work was done  She died in Winchester in 1817, aged 41.
